What's New for November 1, 2013

IMPORTANT: With today's release, we've updated the content and code of the interactive tables. Your web browser may have the older version cached, which will result in an error. If you get the error, hold down Shift and click Reload or restart your browser.

Our current release contains a wealth of new data and functionality, as well as various updates to existing services.

Here is a quick summary:

Q1-Q16 TCEs Now Available

• Updated TCE interactive table (Additional columns include diagnostics ratios used by the Kepler Project in the KOI vetting process.)

Improved Access to Kepler Data

• New download scripts have been added for Kepler light curves by quarter and for stars containing confirmed planets, KOIs and TCEs.


• The Kepler stellar data can now be searched by web query or by uploading a list of objects.

18 Million WASP Light Curves Added

The first WASP public data release from 2004 to 2008 is now part of the archive's permanent collection. Browse the documentation, or go directly to the data by any of the following channels:

• Search the light curve metadata interactively. Depending on the size of return, the results will be available within an interactive table or by bulk download. From the table, you can go on to the interactive visualizer and periodogram tool.


• Download the light curves or metadata directly.


• See magnitude and spatial distributions of the targets.

Confirmed Planets and Updated Parameters

We've added 12 new planets, including the multiple planet systems of Kepler-89 (a.k.a. KOI-94) and Kepler-90 (a.k.a. KOI-351):

• KOI-94 b, c, d & e (a.k.a. Kepler-89)


• KOI-351 b, c, d, e, f, g & h (a.k.a. Kepler-90)


• PSR J1719-1438b

Plus, updated parameters for Kepler 78 and more than 30 other planetary systems.

Also, Stellar Density has been added as a parameter to the Confirmed Planet interactive table and Host Overview page. To access the overview page, double-click the icon in the Host Name column of the interactive table and then click the Confirmed Exoplanet Overview link in the pop-up window.
